From A to Z and all the guts in between

My life is pretty mundane and I don't have a lot to say lately, mainly because it all seems the same to me daily. Going a month without posting seems like a long time but then I think about how long it was before I even thought about doing a blog before I actually did it and one month is not so bad...ramble...ramble...ramble.
If you want a CD with the songs that were played at Grandma Erwin's funeral, put in your order now, I will start burning and mailing this weekend.
We went over to Meredith's house to watch conference Sunday and at the end of the afternoon session (which ended at 6 pm our time) it had been a long day for a 2 yr old. It was time for the closing prayer for closing session so Avery bowed her head and folder her arms for the prayer, and since it was the last prayer of conference it got pretty long. I called it the "walking prayer", cuz that is what Avery started to do after 30 seconds of this long prayer. As she walked across the room towards the TV with her arms still folded and head bowed, I thought that maybe the spiritualness of the prayer was drawing her to the TV, but instead she walked over and picked up a balloon that she and John David had been playing with, and used just one hand as she kept her head buried in the other one. As the prayer finally ended, and we were all cracking up watching her, I hope she didn't get the idea that it is ok to laugh at the end of prayers.

By the way, I had my colonoscopy today and looking at the picks, I did a good job of instituting the cleaning out process. One polyp was found and no geodes...thank goodness cuz Owen would probably want to have show and tell in class. The pictures were pretty cool if you like guts. I will scan and post if I have just one request from anyone out there...just one is all it takes.

Scan and post! Scan and post! Scan and post! (this is me chanting).

Ok- that prayer story is hilarious! If only you knew that our kids do that EVERY NIGHT during the bedtime prayer. Not necessarily walking, but always some one handed activity while pretending to have their eyes closed and head bowed.
