One of the Mysteries of Life

Well, I finally downloaded the Labor Day Pics at the North Carolina lake house. What a beautiful place.

As we took a walk something very thought provoking occurred to me...how can a gnat fly backwards for 1 hour and hover in front of my face without looking over it's shoulder to see if it is going to run into something.

I guess it figured that if he was going to back into a tree my face would be close behind.

It was a humid but fun hike just the same (if hikes can be fun).

On Sunday evening right at sunset we were serenaded by a person playing the bagpipes. It echoed across the lake and you could hear it far away.

I have also decided that I still hate Jet Skiers...the most rude people on any lake.

How cool is that?! Unless, of course you despise the sound of bagpipes and you were trying to watch Monk or take a nap or something. Then it would be really rude and annoying.

Hmmm....food for thought on the gnat thing. I will have to think about that for a while.

I LOVE bagpipes. I was afraid the video was going to have some rude jet skiers zip by in the end. haha
