We Are not All the Same in the South

One of the reasons I wanted to do this blog so I could relate what i experience in my travels before I forget it. Driving thru Alabama, I was listening to a radio station from a small town called Jackson. I swear I can't make up this stuff, but they had one commercial where one guy says to his friends, "What gives, I pull up and see all these kick-ass cars in front." And one of the guys says "Dude, where have you been...so and so car company is having a sale." That is some classy ad copy if you ask me.
Then right after, this commercial talks about the true meaning of the Led Zep song Stairway to Heaven. They are actually playing the song in the background so you can hear the words, and saying that it has to do with this lady going into 'Classic Meats' to buy food for a party. Now I know why I always salivate when I hear that song.
I'm gonna start taking my camera in the car to show everyone what the scenery is really like. I decided that when I drove down this country road in the Florida panhandle and saw 2 real jet fighter planes sitting in this guy's front yard. You should have seen the runway.
